ripping in wmp10

    Hi everyone,
    I have an annoying problem when i rip cds to my pc.
    If I play one of the tracks while ripping the sound quality is terrible,
    stuttering etc. I have 3.4 pentium 4 with 1gb of ram so i dont think
    its a resources issue. i have no other programs running.

    don't use wmp to rip your CDs. it is horrible at it. The best ripper around is called EAC (exact audio copy). it is free. when combined with the LAME mp3 plugin using VBR (variable bitrate) settings, you will get the best quality possible. we have a guide here on how to install, setup, and use EAC. you can find the link to the guide in my sig below...
