It will be nice if they crack it before Tuesday, at least it gives you another reason to buy the program if you already haven't. It was one of the best purchases I made.

Edit this is an update from ireland at Xcopy

Best I can tell you is to bundle up your ifo's and send them to slysoft, the last time this happened on a movie it took them several days to figure it out. But they did in the end.

Well actually i tried playing the burned copy on another player and the result was blank screen for around 5 mins of the beginning of the disc, due to the fact that i shrink the extra 3056mb of blank space in the unreference materials folder. But after that the movie went smooth through. I used nero to burn and dvdfabdecrypter to rip. Now if i can remove that damn vts_01 of blank space instead of shrinking it the movie is fine. How do i remove the whole vts_01 of blank space? I dont know if you guys understood what i'm trying to say here..

@tdy, I would try ANYDVD again. The new update 5.4.4.1 is able to handle this movie. It has a 21 day free trial fromwww.slysoft.com.

Ok, I DID IT! I got a perfect backup of Lords OF Dogtown! Here's how I did it. Theses are just the versions I used. Get AnyDVD 5.4.4.1. Make sure it is enabled. Get DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 and rip the movie in FILE MODE. The get DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15 and OPEN (ctrl+O--not open disc, not open disc image)and select the folder where you ripped the movie to. Then run DEEP ANALYSIS because the movie will be to big. For this one you will need to put your settings to DVD-5 not custom. then uncheck #3 under AUDIO (AC3 2-ch English 153mb). Then I created an image from that and burned it to disc with DVD Decrypter. Hope this works for everone, it did for me.

I'm having the same problems with Decryptor and Shrink. Domvoc, where did you use anyDVD? I don't want to get it if I don't need it. I got it from the local video store too. It's great having friends that work and hook you up with free movies especially when they don't come out for another week.

I'm doing a test using anydvd new ver (enable), decypter latest ver.(on file mode) and using dvd shink latest ver. and delinting the audio #3 ac3 2ch english like you said. and since I dont care for the coment I also deleted the language onder that...when buring it with the dvd shink (I will burn it direct since I have the nero reloaded ver and it works together with the dvd srink to burn)..the only thing I'not doing is the .iso file. I hope it works for me. will post laters when ma pc gets done topost the results..
    ..
one qquestion to the last post..how did you make the iso file..what program did you use to make it after you decrypted...thanks in advance..just want to now in case my test fails..
    good luck

Alright I'm in the middle of trying to burn the movie. Do you think a lot of new dvds will be like this because I really don't want to have to buy a program.

    XstfuX,
Suggest you get AnyDVD and you might also get this freebie if you do not have it DVDFab Decrypter. They usually update as quickly as AnyDVD

success I guess anydvd did good with the update. it works
process anydvd new ver enable / then dvd decrypter file mode / then dvd shink (control + o) then deep analisys an make shure you select dvd-5 on the settings then delet the #3 ch-2 english also I deleted the lenguage under comentaries folder. then back it up and burned at the same time since I got nero reloaded (it works with the dvd shink as the burning engine.

good luck ! thanks to anydvd / dvddecrypter fo the best program ever / and dvd shrink..and excelent trio...
....thanks to all the smart people out there helping out !

My copy is burning right now and so far so good using the Anydvd method. I only have the 21 day trial so are there any other programs that do the same thing that are free? I'm pretty sure sony will continue to use this protection on their next Dvds so I need something for after the 20 days.
