I have a problem which I have seen mentioned on this site but not answered.

I am ripping CD-Rs and the last two seconds of each track is messed up. The two seconds are replaced with a loop (8 times in 2 sec) of music from elsewhere in the track.

Go to the following page to hear examples and get more info:

If you can help please do; I'm at my wit's end...

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

    1. At http://www.digital-inn.de/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=14 there's the "official" EAC forum. If you don't find a solution here you might want to ask there too.

    2. I can't tell what it is, but what I'd try:

2.1. What modes have you tried with EAC?
I'd try secure mode (C2 off, cache checked), burst mode (test+copy) AND "copy image + create cue sheet" (with both modes)
2.2. I'd try foobar2000's diskwriting feature to record the wavs directly from CD (not while playback, but "instead of", similar to what you did with Cool Edit, but faster and track-by-track).

    Nice problem description page BTW
