Hi, I have tryed anydvd clondvd2 dvdxcopy ect ect and the same thing happens. When i insert the cd into the the burner my computer locks up till i eject the ed then i gives me some bs thing. could really use help here guys.
I assume that you insert the original dvd movie not a music cd. Okay then let's start over. I've been using clonedvd+anydvd for a long time and one single disc has failed. I don't know why this is happening to you. Need more details and your computer spec, then I think I can give some advice.
windows xp sp2 amd athlon(tm) Processor 1.87 Ghz, 100 GB Ram memorex double layer 16x dvd burner yes this is for dvd's...
I've been reading where some folks are having problems, that turns out to be caused by Microsoft's updates. But it's only happening to a few, not everyone. Don't know what the difference is in the computers. Me, and a lot of others have gotten all the updates, and still have no problems with the Slysoft programs. I use AnyDVD and CloneDVD, and haven't found a movie yet, that they can't handle. Just got an upgrade to AnyDVD today.......... Good luck!
Yea ur telling me.. When i have the file(avi..ext) on the comp then i can burn easy but when i got to backup a file i just put the dvd in and the whole machine just locks up.. really getting to me.. so if anyone has a clue you would be a big help.
maybe it's your media that's not being recognized by your computer and it's locking up your system trying to figure out what it's got in the drive! what media are you using? what drive are you using? does your drive have the latest firmware so it can recognize your media!? this would cause lockups! give us more information and we may just be able to help you out!
I have the same burner. Are you using another ripping program? Try dvdfab decrypter or do you think its the burner? Still have the reciet for the burner? Maybe its defective
What are you running in the back ground? Ihad to uninstall my sisters virus "NORTON" protection cause it was locking up her comp. Could that be a cause? Im not a pro what so ever so take it like a grain of salt
ripping a DVD should not interfier with your virus protection or internet protection programs! Mine are on 100% of the time! And my 1050+ collection just keeps getting bigger and bigger! sooooooo sigeman..... what dvd are you trying to backup? If these are just AVI files that you downloaded from the internet.... then take it from the source.... it could just very well be corrupted and can't be copied!
