I am using DVD Fab as well as ANY DVD & DVD Shrink. I have used these programs before and was able to rip a DVD within 16-20 minutes, but since I have had to format my HD and re-install all of my programs it now takes the entire time length of the movie to rip them. The strange thing is that this happens with ANY of my DVD programs. Also, both of my DVD drives (HP DVD Writer 740b &
SONY DVD RW DRU-720A) are playing choppy. I know that I am not giving much info to go on, but I'm hoping that maybe there is a simple (?) solution. (yeah right). Thanks.

Probably your drive is in PIO mode. You must turn DMA back on if that's the case.

Thanks, but thats not the issue. I have already checked and both drives are in DMA mode.
