RIPPING XBOX 360 GAMES + BURNING

yes to play burned games u will need to modify the 360 by flashing the dvd drive with new firmware

 

Ok, before this goes any further, i really think the pople asking the questions here should do some serious searching. honestly, everything here has been answered before. even tghe tutorial i posted has been posted before. OF COURSE you have to mod your 360 in order for the backup games to work. please do a little more research on your own.

 

if you dont want to purchuse a kreon drive like myself, try using WxRipper but dont take ur drive apart instead use the emergency eject hole by inserting a paperclip into it. I have a pioneer-112d and it works flawlessly and is extremely quick to create the iso also. Give this a try.

 

The emergency hole will only work on some drives like yours... You'll need to take the drive apart if the emergency hole trick does not work for you.

 

is there an emergency hole on every drive, i posted the drive i had in an above post. I found a small hole at the front and tried to stick a staple in it but there was no button or i didnt go deep enough and it just went right in the drive and its gone for ever lol. The little hole was just under the drive but i dont think theres a button there but i dont see why theres a random hole..

 

A staple won't do it you must use either a needle, pushpin (might be too short still), or an unfolded paperclip.

 

its not random... that sounds like the manual eject hole, but i doubt a staple would be long enough to do the trick... something more like a paper clip unlfolded to full length should do the trick. the staple prolly fell in cuz it wasnt long enough to reach the manual release.

 

ok, i downloaded an xbox360 game that was pre patched, and i see that it says region: EU does that stand for EUROPE , so I living in CANADA cannot play this game without being banned? Also whats the dif between PAL/STRANGE games i see alot of both..
