RitekG04 Printable settings??

HEy

I Was hoping someone that has configured to print on there RitekG04 DVD-R discs would have all the settings in mm to print the most on a disc?

This would help instead of me testing on all kinds of discs.

hub: inner 23mm outer 118mm
non hub: inner 43mm outer 118mm

using Epson R300 with G05 from Blankmedia.ca.

I use 42mm inner and 118 outer for the G04 at Blankmedia. No prob at all. You can give it a try.

marvo: how's the G05 at blankmedia.ca? Have you test them (pi/pif)? Are they good?

 

Thats exactly what I use, but the image is still way off center on the disc, there is about a 1 inch layer of non printed disc...if you know what I mean?

What software do you use to print on the DVD?

Any chance of doing a quick screen capture of the configuration screen and emailing to me?

To be honest, I am not sure I understand. One inch?
Can you elaborate?

G04 with 42mm inner and 118 outer will be pretty good. Some users are pushing the outer to 119. I prefer 118.

Give it a try with the Epson Print cd.

 

BAsicfally the entire print surface is shifted about 1 inch.....as if a sticker was stuck on about 1 inch of the center of the hub, looks like it is sliding off the disc .

I will definitely try PrintCD tonight.

 

Let me know, I am curious.

You can run the print head alignment but I cannot tell if this is the problem.

Well thanks a lot for the advice. I have printed on 4 DVD's tonight flawlessly with Epson PrintCD. Great stuff!
