    Hi t-loader
RiVision uses different manufacturers - some not very good at all. May be part of your problem.
Check to see who the manufacturer is - pop a blank in the drive then in Nero go to ToolKit>CD-DVD Speed and click on the disc info tab.

Also make sure your drives firmware is up to date. If not up to date an update may help your drive w/ these discs.

Another problem may be to high of a burn speed - try taking it down a notch.

Better media to use would be Verbatim or made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell.

Not a good sign there t-loader
I'd still check and make sure the drives firmware is up to date & up date it if not - maybe you got lucky (?) on the manufacturer.

    edit: spelling

Well there goes my one theory - older burner maybe w/ 16x media.
So that still leaves dumping the RiVision and switching to the media above.
Me -I'd try and return them - hey they don't work - will just depend on where you purchased them policy on returns.
