Ok, I know this has been asked many times, and I looked through about 15 pages of posts, and couldn't find a single one that didn't use Nero. I have one song that is a .rm file that I want to convert to mp3. Any suggestions?

search for Streambox Ripper in Google. You'll need the program and a crack. It isn't available anymore so good luck

You can use something like total recorder to capture your realplayer's output and save it to wav, then convert the .wav to mp3. (BTW: This is called transcoding and can decrease quality).

Another option would be using tara input plugin for winamp and lame output plugin. Tahere are also some ways to play back rm/ra files without real player installed, e.g. "real alternative". At least some of them can be used in a similar way.
