    Hi guys,

If I'm not in the right place please point me in that direction...

My brother just got a Rogers Cable digital box (through Rogers) and there's a USB port on the front of it.

He went into BestBuy and asked the guy in the TV department about it and was told that if he bought a USB drive and uploaded movies to it he could just plug it in and play the movie from there rather than burning them to disk.

Tried it and can't seem to get it to work.

Can you actually does this or was the sales associate full of BS just to sell my brother the usb drive?

If it CAN be done, what format does the video have to be in? They're currently AVI.

    Thjanks in advance
