See a lot of people asking this. Honestly if you don't want to risk waiting maybe YEARS for another exploit.. sell your system and pick up a used one or a new system before they all ship with 3.50... You might lose a few bucks on the sale but you'll make up that amount in no time. The average gamers don't seem to know the system has been hacked, otherwise the used prices would be thru the roof.
I agree pwrshft99, More importantly ...GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND... We need a sticky on every forum saying if you tried Google and it couldn't help then you are allowed to post... some people need to use this forums search tool...
if you are on 3.42 or above then you will be waiting for along time! The fact is atm most are spending their time trying to create homebrew for the current hackable consoles. If you currently have a phat ps3 and have some money to spare then definitely sell the phat and buy a slim, I bought a new 320gb slim and it came with firmware 3.40. But as already stated these will be sold out soon enough and Sony most definitely will be shipping new batches with 3.50 on them. Also note that these slim consoles are less likely to overheat compared to phat ones, as well as the newer slim versions using 45% less electricity! So it's basically an investment, but with this investment you already know your returns will be greater. Lower energy bills, as well as money saved on not buying new games (if used for piracy )
I want to do this but it would be pointless for me at the moment as I want to be able to play games online. Multiplayer is my thing...
