I saw a post dated February about back-up copies of this software. I tried Nero as SVAR91 had suggested but it gives me a read error. Does anyone have any suggestions? It seems to me I should be able to make a back-up copy for my own protection. Thanks.

i don't own any Rosetta Stone stuff (and probably won't want to after reading that) so Hell no, but does it take someone with a PhD to figure out how to make a copy? That SafeDisc protection is a major P.I.T.A. I still haven't figured out if Daemon-Tools or Alkohol 120% helped them make the copy.

It was hell for me to copy Rosetta Stone. When I was trying to load the file into Nero my PC (3.2 P4 / 1G RAM) would lock up. The only way I loaded it was to select a small part of the file at a time. Then bruned it as normal. RS file has a ton of folders.

Since you did not give the error u recieved that is the only help I can suggest.
