Do you mean Xploit patcher? installer said, that needed run first for 1.5... are there anything I need know, I surely dont want brick my psp!

 

yes the xploit patcher run that first,then the upgrader make sure battery at 75% or more and make sure your psp is also connected to ac adaptor

ok you now need to format your memstick now to give you all the folders needed you don't need devhook no more welcome to custom firmware enjoy lol.(oh you may want to put 3.52m33 update 4 on now this will get rid of a few minor bugs and give you a built in umd ripper and the ability to watch umd isos from your memstick

once you've downloaded it extract it (password needed get it here http://www.pspx.ru/forum/showthread.php?t=50476)just place the folder in game 150 on memstick go to game in xmb and run it,it will take about 2 seconds

 

Where do I need password? I unpacked file, there was eboot.pbp file. But what does that update 4 excactly do? is there change of bricking installing it?

arg.....im trying to run 2.71 on devhook .44, i can get it to run 2.5 fine but i want it to run atleast 2.6 but its not working. i dont load any isos using devhook, just to emulate the firmware. so can you help me with the settings for it?

It's in the ISO folder on the root. :\

 

Use the new Devhook v52 or update to 3.71 m33 FW

 

just a radnom question, still however related to this topic of devhook... did booster 'retitre' or something i mean i would still switch it up between dh and cfw if he updated it every new firmware but he doesnt alot really... devhook emu for 3.71 would be a great feature especialy if it was emulating a custom firmware, that could be done right.

for example, devhook emulates the flash, so if i were to take the flash of an old cfw like 3.03 oe-c for example, could i instead of playing iso emulation, just play the files from the memory stick? its a good idea for ppl still on dh and kinda like loading alot of firmwares (which i like doing)

 

I do not know where booster is but I do want a new devhook.

Erm, last time I checked Booster was alive and kicking...he did make the Extended Pandora boot menu/loader.....much more useful then devhook which is completely obsolete.

 

yeah i heard about that.... i mean he dead on the devhook side. thats what he is mainly known for. but anyways devhook is a great idea and id liek to see him continue it.
