i don't know anything about routers, so does the wireless router have be plugged into my computer for me to get a signal on the psp or what?
it has to be plugged into the line running from your cable modem, or dsl line or whatever you're using.
Well other Manufaturers may offer differnt (i.e. cheaper alternitives),. But the Router I'm useing now has a bult-in xDSL MODEM allready in it! so basicly all I have to do is just connect the Oneside to the Wall, and the other (LocalAreaNetwork) to the PC. Sadly even though I wasted good Money on a 802.11a,b,g PCI Card. The MODEM / Router must be connected to a LAN (i.e. a PC) in order to work. =( The One thing the Routers have in common is the abbility to be configured with a Web Browser (i.e. 192.168.x.x though IE or FF),. Sadly that's about where the simularties end, well not really. But, Different brands tend to be different as they say. In shuch cases it's best to simply "RTFM"!!!
