I posted this earilier but i still cant make my router work, i have a Linksys router. I do everything the manual tells me to do, but i still can't make it work. The problem is that it doesnt detect the internet. Everything is done correctly, i even restarted it and then disconnected the power cable and waited then connected it again, but it still didn't work. All i want my router for is to play xbox live. Can somebody please help me! thanks
try this ..on the back of your router theres a little pin hole.. get a pen or a needlle and poke it in there while still plugged in .to reset it .then after the lights flash unplugg it for like a min or so . then reset you cable modem the same way ..make sure the x-box is off n anything else plugged into your router ...then plugg your cable modem back in and wait for the lights to stop blinking .then plugg your router in n do the same ..if that doesnt help then u may have a damaged router ..hope that helps
