    howdy Folks:

Linksys BEFSR41 v2 - port forwarding issues - and cant get latest firmware
purchased brand new BEFSR41 v3 - wont reset from button - sent back
purchased new today DLINK EBR. 2310- not as OS X supported as they say on box - issues already trying to configure - will return tomorrow

Can anyone share suggestions on a good wired router for 2 Macs - all I seek is to pull/push torrents( Azureus & Transmission) - 2 machines going from 1 cable connection - last tested ( 6 days back ) speeds were 5000+kbps down & 565 kbps up and be able to surf the net on one computer - am I asking too much

have read some swear to Net Gear and others say NO! some stand by Linksys - personally I think not worth the trouble - their tech's tell me fist off they are not Mac knowing - best to configure with a PC - borrow one .......

Suggestions please and cheers in advance

If you want ease of use with a Mac, then the AirPort Express, Airport Extreme, or the soon to be released Apple Time Capsule are your choices. Set up and configuration are straightforward. However, you will pay a premium when compared to other routers.

    Howdy Folks:

Cheers ya for the replies :

All of these are Wireless - i prefer to stay wired - will try and muddle thru with the BEFSR41 v2 I have now - they still make it - may not be as easy as the Airports from Apple - though I will say I am less impressed with Apple these days

    Cheers:
