Which is better? Router or Hub.
I only have one other computer hooked up, with d-link di-604 router.
I use emule for my P2P.
While hooked up to router, I lose my connection for a second, just enough to throw things off.
I've forwarded all ports necessary, so no prob. there.
If I had a hub, would i have this problem?
Not sure what the difference is between the two..

    Thanks..

A router is better than a hub.

Basically a hub receives a packet in one of it's ports and sends it out every other port. A hub does not provide any DHCP services or do anything other than forward packets.

A router receives a packet and only sends it to the port that it is destined for, not every port. Most home routers also have DHCP services, NAT, and many have firewalls too.
