any router can work fairly well; it's all about port-forwarding. the problem with wireless routers is that they won't let you go as fast as an equivalent hard-wired router. but routers *dont* stop geting torrents. ^.^
I think wireless routers are fine (unless your internet speed is faster than your router's tranfer speed =]). But yeah, if you simply forward the right ports, you wont have a single problem. I have a router and after i forwarded the ports, i got a 150kb/s speed increase!
satvik, reduce your sig to forum specs of 50k instead of presnt 91,610 bytes. 2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall. 4. If you want to use both text and image in your signature the image should not be more than 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall, and you can use up to three lines of text.
I can get my max download with my wireless router which transfers 54mbs. My hardwired can get a max 7mb download and so can my wireless router. The only problem is, is that it can bottle neck your wireless connection from time to time and cause either slow down or completly stop the connection...simple solution, unplug the router for a few seconds (15 sec) and plug it back in. Nothing like a capacitor reset.
