every one says they cause problems if installed on a comp at the same time is it true?

Yes, it is true. They do conflict with each other. It's the drivers that cause problems.

    Nero for me, hands down.

It is "not" recommend to have both (Roxio & Nero) installed on one system. Because they conflicts one another.

I have used Nero for years but now i have changed to Roxio and i wish i had have done it a long time ago ..Nero gave me so much trouble and all sorts of stuff going wrong so i got rid of it and it was the best thing i did ..Roxio is by far the better of the two and Roxio has far more options than Nero..this is just my thoughts of the two and i am sure a lot of people will think that Nero is better ..whatever ..:)

I don't know why I'm the only guy that has both Roxio7 and Nero6.6Ultra minus InCD installed on his system. I have no conflicts. Nada! They don't load at boot up, so never run at same time.
I much prefer Nero to Media Creator. Nero Recode is he difference.

I've never used roxio for movies.......

Only used Roxio for backing up CD's.

But had MANY problems when had both Nero & Roxio installed on my PC.

I do like Nero alot.........will continue to use.

How do I find out what version of Nero, I have ?

    I think I have 6.6.0.18 ? but not sure ?
