NOW ANOTHER PROBLEM!! as i got my 0001 console running iv just ordered a glitch kit, so i made a cable to power a hdd from the dvd drive cable as i wasnt going to use a dvd drive anymore, iwired a sata connector to hald the dvd cable, using pins 10+12 for 12v, pin 8 for 5v, and 5,7,9,11 for ground to my sata connector. went ahead to test it and the console gave me 3rrod with error 0021, the hana chip gets hot with a few mosfets too and iv noticed that it still gets warm even with the standby voltage, also iv tested all the fets and i cant get no resistance from one on the bottom of the motherboard beside where the fans go? its a falcon revision, anybody know what this mosfets is for? iv just tried a heat gun reflow with no success, still seems to fire up fans go but no video 3 red lights. anybody help me!!!!
0021 = bridged solder/short. If it is a short generally the fans stop as soon as you turn the system on, however i believe this error can also be cause by blown mosfets
Do you still get 0021 without the wires you made plugged in? As w00ly says it could be a mofset but I've fixed this error with a heatgun before. Saying that the one I fixed hadn't been opened before.
yeah still the same without a dvd drive or anymods to the board, what about that mosfet underneath near the fans it should have resistance shudnt it? every other one but that one does
i cant see the code on the, i managed to get D888 dc10279 or something like that, cant seem to find it online, anybody know which one it is i need?
