just posting to tell you guys about my rrod experience.
It happened yesterday approx 13 months after i bought it, it is a falcon motherboard purchused in dec 07. I kept it well ventilated up high on a table with at least 0.5 metres on all sides from walls. I also let the console cool down by sitting idle on the dashboard after every gaming session for about 30mins-1hour. Then whilst rockband'ing, freeze, RROD (error 0102). Maybe i should have done a fan mod or something earlier. So im going to pay to have it repaired soon hope the fix is permanent. Just letting you guys know that this could happen to anyone, i take extremely good care of my 360 and it still happened.

I would just repair it yourself. You will save a lot of money as repair shops tend to charge more. A 0102 error code is an easy fix with the x-clamp fix. Pretty much every time I repair that exact same code, right after I put the x-clamp fix on, it does the job. I still do reflow though of the gpu. Search google and you can find some good repair kits and guides.
