Hello! My AVR is a Denon 3805. Among the connections on my AVR is an RS-232C port. The user's manual says nothing about it. Audioholics simply says that its for "third party control systems". Can someone tell me what this is for? Thanks! ...Gerry

    diagnostics....................

my yammy has it too. so when they plug in, they can d/l info and see errors, malfunctions. it's kinda like a ALDL connector for cars, in other words like an OBDII plug for my scanner.

it's all for diagnostics gerry !!
