rs232 cable/ no connection port on pc

i want to download the new software on my starview 2 the box.

i have the cable but i dont have the port connection on my pc.

Is thre an adaptor or converter i can get?

i just purchased a USB Serial Converter for €42.
Thats what yea need.

These links may save you some money , and just remember that some usb to serial adapters have long standing driver issues ie a lot of them dont work
