RS232 to update starview

    do i use the RS232 cable that i got with the box to update it or do i need a new cable? i'm just after getting my usb to rs232 converter in the post so i'm looking to update.

    sorry i wasn't sure if the Serial Null Modem 9-Pin Female to 9-Pin Female was the same as the rs232

    Sometimes the suppliers call it the rs232 cable and the best thing to do is try it anyway , If it sticks at 0% and does not update , then they supplied the wrong cable and you will need a NULL MODEM CABLE :)
