RUGBY LEAGUE 2 (**PS2 only**) - BACKUP PROBLEMS - NO EMAILS or flouting other Forum Rules

ok ive got iso's of both cd's and have tried dan_87's way but it still says insert rugby league 2 disk

I tried rebuilding it and it wouldnt even load

 

same with me tired rebuilding with all the above mentioned tools and extracters even tried doing a simple direct backup on nero...no luck at all either cant get past the menu sceen or doesnt get past the playstation 2 logo---aghh!! is there no hope for this bloody game!!

 

just tried to search for a torrent file (rugby league2 ps2) on various sites(mininov..etc) and returned with no results...even the non working versions were removed..would have sony removed them by request??? or just the the torrent site admin removed them coz they dont bloody work anyway?(most probably...)

 

anyone with an old dvd burner,that will be recognised by the app

What would that record now max software do that other software doesnt do, will this make a back up copy of NRL 2 work on chipped PS2..

 

i was told,that someone has used this app to copy the original,and it boots,(how true,only time will tell,until someone confirms it)
i cant test,as my burner wont be recognised by the app,(its too new)

 

Hey guys..I tried it with recordnow max using the iso on my hard drive (data disk burn option) burnt a copy and stuck it in the ps2 I had to reset a couple of times it finally booted up --menu screen still grayed out!!!! --ill get the original disc from my mate and try it as a direct copy with that later on...do yaz think that'll make any difference??

it must be a direct copy from the original,not from the iso

i suspect it wont work,so dont waste more than 1 disk on this

hey im haveing same prob with this game it sucks for us rugby fans and i was thinking before someone said why cant we play a copyed game without mods and stuff and as we know its cause of that thing stamped on when its made and uncopyable what if the copy protection was put into that thing so as no one could copy it is it possible ??????? just a thought might be wrong any way to check?? or is that wrong, i will talk to a pommie freind of mine who knows about this stuff see if he knows anything

 

I'm having the same problem with Kinetic (PAL version). I have SMv3.6 but no m0dchip. What should I do? Rebuild or are there protections that will REQUIRE a m0dchip?

 

So far it done matter if you have a mod chip or any version of swap magic .. this disc has somethng else. DOnt bother burning or rebuilding. at least until its cracked
