Although PS3 sales are definitely picking up and they did outsell 360 worldwide for 2007, they need some sort of boost to regain what they once had. We all know it's inevitable but this soon is kind of hard to believe. Either way, grain of salt on this one.
Looks hot! I still like black better. :-D I doubt that is the final design though. It would just be a prototype. I am sure a more compact PS3 is on the cards. From what I know they usually have plans and designs for a few years in advance. It is the law that stops them from releasing a new design too quickly. It makes perfect business sense to have future models being designed and tested many years in advance but not to release them too early... Especially with so much at stake with the likes of companies such as Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo etc.
Why didnt they just do this in the first place? Well, i wont be buying one, but it depends what new features it has.
forget about it we aint THAT technologically advanced we can shrink things give it 5-6 yrs and we'll see.
