Run As Administrator - Help !!!

    Using Windows Vista, but when using Firefox to download anything it doesnt work.

    I need to right click & run as administrator before it does anything.

    I used to know how to remove the access rights etc but now i cant remember as i have been using XP for ages.

    Any help is much Appreciated

    have you tried disabling UAC in the user accounts in control panel?

    After I install Vista or Win7, I enable the 'hidden' admin account to avoid issues like this. Right click on command prompt and run as admin.

    Code:
    net user administrator /active:yes
    Log out and log into the new admin account. You won't get prompted for UAC or anything else.
