    Hi Folks!
Been sometime since Ive been here but I suppose in a way thats good. All things have been smooth sailing until NOW!!***###() LOL.

So because of this Im back in need of HELP!!!

Ive been trying to backup a copy of "take the lead" dvd. Ive got it to the hard drive using DVDFAB, without any probs.
I open DVD shrink and then decode it, so as to let it rip. When the shrink is finalised DVD decrypter fails to run and comes up with a message saying...."run time error shrink .exe failed to load" or something to that effect. If I use nero recode it previews the entire dvd as with shrink but fails to load nero.exe to burn. So its been frustrating like burning a candle at both ends and wasting an hour for no go.

What causes this run time error? The ripped files are about 10.7 gig. Other dvds work fine except for this "hard case" lol.

    Anyone can help???

    Steve

    Thanxxxxx

You need to use dvdfab decrypter(free)then VOB Blanker 1.6.0.3 (free)
then dvd shrink then burn with dvd decrypter.
I also have anydvd running in the background.

    Hi Guys

I get the files decrypted to the hard drive ok using dvdfab decrypter.

I open the relevant files using shrink but get this message coming up,,,,,

I cant re author or backup full disk because it doesnt get past this message. This is the first time and happens only with this movie backup!

Not sure why it is. Ive checked the preferences in shrink and the enable burn with NERO is activated!

    stevedvd,
jbm2451 and basilj both suggested you run the ripped files through VobBlanker. Have you run the ripped files through VobBlanker as they suggested? Also what is the name of the movie?

I think he said the movie name is Take the Lead. stevedvd You also say the ripped file is 10.7 gig. This seems awfully big to me. And this is a new movie, so you definitely will need VobBlanker. Here's a guide on how to use http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/282892
