I have been wondering this for a long time now, and no one has posted it, haven't seen it on the net, so I thought I should ask. Does anyone know if it is possible to run the XBOX OS on a PC? Or if there is anyone working on this? NOT AN EMUALTOR! The actual OS. The XBOX runs on mostly regular PC hardware - most importantly the processor - so it should be possible to do this. Many people already own a PC. I wondered about this b/c the XBOX OS is specifically made to run games and is streamlined as such. Wouldn't it be really fast on, oh say, a Celeron 2.93 Ghz w/ 1,024 MB ram? Sorry, still haven't obtained a kick a** video card yet. SO if the XBXO oS runs really fast on outdated hardware, woudln't it be really fast on newer hardware? Or what Micro$oft is going to sell us in November, i.e. XBOX 360!?!?!? Sorry for the long post, just wanted to cover my bases. Also, feel free to "give me an education". Just thought it was a good idea.
