runtime error '339'

    I keep getting this error when Im trying to download a file. I sent it to a computer store to fix and they did a new load on the Hard Drive and the error still come up. Does anyone know how to fix this error. Please help its driving me crazy.

    What are you downloading the file with?

    Run-time error 339: Component 'MSCOMM32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

    Im tryn to download Xbox Creeator 2.7v or 2.8v

    I also open it w/WINRAR like Im suppose to use.

    What browser are you downloading it with, and what happens if you try saving the file first?

    It lets me save it on my computer,but when I open it and run the program it give me the error

    XBOX CREATOR 2.7v I have even tried 2.8v

    Also I just had a new motherboard put in and I have put a fresh copy of XP.

    Sorry just looked uit up. NO I havent. I never had to do that part. Would you recommend CCleaner to try to fix the problem or RegCure.

    I found out how to fix the problem I downloaded NetFramework 2.0 and some library files and it fix the problem.
