Hello m8s I a newbie to burning and have been using Shrink and Nero to rip/encode and burn, but I have heard that these backups cannot compete with the quality of DVD RB - HC/CCE's quality, so hence I will make the jump to making better back ups. I keep getting this error wheneve I hit the backup button, I have tried just the zip file with the program..did not work, so I got the install version figuring that this would solve the case, but I am still getting this error..figured the install would install the encoders..not quite sure whats wrong with it, any help appreciated m8s edit: quick question is DVDFab a transcoder as well?
this error is saying rebuilder cannot access or find the encoder that you have selected! do this make sure your preffered encoder is checked ih the mode menu! then click on setting's then set-up this will take you to a window that will let you browse for your encoder that you have installed if you did not uninstall/delete the program zip chances are you are using a shortcut/quick launch icon to access that version as the installer will have all free encoders already set-up! if worse comes to worse run uninstall do a search to see if you still have any copies of rebuilder on you pc then re-dl the full installer!
