After 231 successful conversions of my elderly collection of VHS/Beta tapes to DVD's, But, today I came up with a runtime error which has me baffled. I have been using WinDV with a ADVC-100 as the AVI upload to the HD. As soon as I started to upload I received a Runtime Error along with the statement, "This application has requested Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information". It's like the dreaded "Blue Screen"! I know there is another program out there somewhat like WinDV. Does anyone know it's name or whom to contact. Thank you. As a matter of information to many of you doing conversions. Canopus apparently doesn't give much support to their products after sale. This was the third request I have forwarded to them for a possible answer, and have yet to receive "ONE" return email. Afterdawn has done more in keeping my interest and technical support above the norm. Thank you Afterdawn, and especially rebootjim.

DVIO v1.32 is available for download here at afterdawn. it is very similar to WinDV, but i have never tried it out with an ADVC-100. you might as well give it a shot....

Turkey... thank you for the reply and the program identification. It is appreciated. Sent the ADVC-100 to Canopus for a possible retuning or repair. Haven't heard of the program you suggested, but will give it a go. CIAO
