s(k)vcd

    wat is this?? KCan somebody explain how to change this format to dvdr

    a kvcd/skvcd is a mpeg-1/mpeg-2 file with a very low bitrate, the lower the bitrate the worse off the quality, on the other hand you can fit a whole movie onto 1 cdr(but this format can only play on a selected few dvd-players). theres no codecs you need for this format so it should be as easy as finding out the system of your file (ntsc,ntscfilm or pal) and finding out if its a widescreen or full screen picture(use g-spot to find all that out) and then using tmpgenc or whatever encoder u prefer to convert to dvd, just a warning tho although the quality is already quite poor the quality will be even worse when converted.
