I had a similar problem with a few frequencies recently but eventually found that my cable wasnt tight enough going into my box. When you manouvre the cable around, you see that the screen breaks up so you have to tighten it up as much as you can.

As Ken mentioned , it could be a cable company problem or the ch@nnels have moved freq's.

As Im in Ireland Im not too sure what the freq's are :(

You can try this and see if you get them back working

    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

    English > Installation
    Choose Provider etc
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    Channels found
    Exit

    Press Menu then 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit , exit , exit

Press Menu then 1570 and press the "Set Default Key" , press OK , Exit 3 times and tune into S*Y Sports and it should auto update for you.

Dont know about the heat thing (hasnt stopped raining in Ireland for weeks lol.)
Note the frequencies of the channels that are bad, then delete them, do a manual scan on the freqs & see if they come back any better.

try'd that as well mate. it cant find any signals/channels on 747 000 after deletion and manual scanning. but if i do it in the evening later on let say 9-10pm... it will come back on but it comes very glitchy and freezes often...hence the weather/temp theory....any other ideas folks..thanks in advance again

Sounds like a cc problem, or they might be carrying out work in your area.
