Safe markers to use for labeling

    Hi,

    I was wondering if anyone knew of a list of safe markers to use for labeling cds/dvds? I have heard that certain types will leak thru the top layer and destroy the data on the disc in doing so after a period of time.

    The only markers I have used to label with are:

    Staedtler Lumocolor 317
    Sharpie Ultra Fine Point

    If there is no list, does anyone know if these markers are OK for labeling cds/dvds?

    As long as it's "nonsolvent" based.
