Ok, i've reached the end of my rope here. I've looked since 8:00am this morning NON stopped trying to beat this encryption. I've used Alcohol, clonecd, Unsafedisc, and not to mention a few other equally unhelpful programs that I couldn't get to work on my machine.
I'm running XP on a new E6700. New LiteON burner. Everything is up to date. I've seriously done everything i can think of.
Heres where the issues start. I first tried Clonecd. Well i put the disc in, made an image and copied everything to a DVD. COASTER!
Then i tried Alcohol. I put my game disc in, made an image and tried to burn that to DVD. Still COASTER!
I'm burning the discs as .ISO and nothing is working.
When i'm in Alcohol, everyone says to goto the lower left hand corner and select SafeDisc 2.9. Well when i put my game disc IN, that box disappears. It's driving me crazy. I wont let me use the safedisc 2\3 option.
    Please someone help.
Ive got a headache and other priorities.
    Thanks

Just use the image instead of trying to make a back up copy. If worse comes to worse throw the ripped image onto a disk as data then use deamon tools to mount it. I made a perfect rip only needing deamon tools to mount it.

Rip the image using alcohol 120% using safedisk 2/3. It appears you can get that far. When you try and burn it after you can't select it. Next use deamon tools and mount the image. Bam works...
To save room on your hard drive you have 2 options. 1) Use nero and rip the image to a disk(the play one). Or make a mini image of the disk. Let it run to about 10% while ripping it then cancel it. Don't delete the image. Then mount the mini image.

If you bf 2 version is a dvd rom version then just try ripping it then mounting it. I think the option to select the protetion goes away with alcohol when you put your DVD rom disk in. I If this doesn't work try fixing the .exe using SecureRom google it. This worked for elder scrolls 4 .. Good luck!

Deamon tools wont let me play the game when its mounted, it still reads that there is no disc.
Alcohol wont let me use the safedisc 2/3 option. It makes it disappear once It reads that i have a disc in the drive to rip from.
If i do rip it just the way alcohol lets me I get .MDF and .MDS images. How would i use those? Daemon tools still wont open it that way.
I can rip it from clonecd but it doesn't appear to take away the encryption, then i would burn it and it still says no disc.
How would i burn it as an ISO image? I seem to be having trouble with that particular one.
It seems that disc juggler would work but it only lets me go up to 700mb on the trial version so it wont let me use it there either. I've thought about splitting it up into 700mb parts and burning it to a bunch of CDR's but i dont exactly know how to go about doing that.

I had a similar problem... try an app called SafediscHider, you can get it from gamecopyworld.com. You just open this program, then mount the mini-image (or the entire image)in daemon, then QUICKLY hit 'hide' in the Hider app and the game should boot up. Of course do a full game install first before trying to mount.
