i have a sagem dbox with linux /sporster pro,does anyone know how to record files into dbox from tv,when i try to write to files(direct) it says "the recording directory is write protected,recording is not possible" or recordinig cancelled,it does the same when on timer also,would appreciate it if anyone who has a copy of the manual for sagem dbox to email me
you cant record directly to the DBox what you can do is set up your computer as a PVR - running WinGrab on the PC and setting the DBox up to record to the PC - obviously both DBox and PC need to be on a network in order for this to work. I have done this and its great..
