2 ways of doing it. You can connect the DBOX up to a router that has its DHCP function activated. Then you go to Settings -> Network on your DBOX and activate DHCP. Then select reload Network Settings at the top.

You can then CHECK NETWORK settings by choosing the appropriate option. It will then display the IP of the DBOX. It also displays the IP of the DBOX while booting.

If you do not have a router, and you wish to connect directly to a PC, make sure the PC and the DBOX have a static IP on the same subnet mask. EG:

    192.168.5.1 (DBOX)
    192.168.5.2 (PC)
    SUBNET 255.255.255.0

Gateway and DNS are irrelevant. You can change the IP address of a DBOX in the Settings -> network options. Just give it static info and restart network (top option). Then check the network settings to confirm.

THen you can go to Filezilla. Apply the IP of the dbox, user "root" and password "dbox". Sorted!

    You can go to START/RUN...

then enter ipconfig as the command. tHat will show your computer IP, although that is not reqired if you are trying to connect to the Dbox via FileZilla. Make sure you have a cable connecting them both. I recommend using a router between the two.

Does your DBox show an IP? If so what is it? Have you run a NEtwork Test on your Dbox? What does it show?
