    Well, the only thing good I see is Best Buy has those 10 pack spindles of Verbatim Dual Layer DVD+R for $19.99! Oh, they also have Memosux 50 packs for $14.99 too! LOL. Those Verb Dual Layers are Sweet Though! 2 bucks each! Stock Up! Maybe there will be some good deals somewhere else, but this one IS Good.

    OD has Maxell 100-packs for $30 although I doubt they are MIJs.

    BB had a 2 spindle online order limit for the DL verbs mentioned above by bunnyrip. Shipping is a deal killer at nearly $5 per spindle if you live close enough to pick them up in-store.

    I guess I better head on over and sift through the spindles. That's really not a bad price for MIT's either in the +R 8x if that is what is on sale. Still very good media.

    @laddyboy,
    The Best Buy Sale on Verb Dual Layers is an In Store Sale.You can buy as many as you like in the store. I don't know about shipping, I never order from Best Buy Online. But, even with 5 bucks shipping, it's a good deal for these High Qulity Verb Dual Layers.

    @movies27

    If the 100's are DVD+R's 8x you will get good media whether it's MIJ or MIT.

    I don't know about the DVD-R's as I have never used them.

    Cheers.

    Yes, bunnyrip, I'm talking about the online ordering only. You can order online and pickup in store avoiding the shipping. That was my point. At 7am est this Sunday am there was a 2 spindle limit on online orders even for in-store pickup. Ordering online is sometimes preferable since you don't have to be there when the store opens to get an item that they may run out of in a short period of time. I've gone in when the store opens before and still not gotten what I wanted because people ahead of me had already taken everything. It's not uncommon for there to be 50-100 hundred people waiting to get into BB on a Sunday am. Adding another $5 per spindle for delivery isn't too bad I guess if you live a distance away.

    There is no limit when you purchase in store. If you go and find that they are out, get a raincheck on a ridiculous amount. What you can do then is buy a little at a time once stock becomes available. I've done this the last 2 times they've had this sale.(I'd get a raincheck for 30 pks and pick up 5pks or more every 1 to 2 weeks until my raincheck amount was met).

    What is also good about going in store rather than ordering online for in store pickup is that you can use coupons as well.(I get 10% to 12% off coupons by mail almost every week).

    The Verb +R DLs are $24.99 at Newegg with free shipping today. I don't remember if Newegg charges tax or not.

    Kmart has the Sony 25 packs for $8.99. Not a stellar deal but not bad if you need some. I remember the 25 packs being difficult to find a MIJ though.

    @neodave, that's not bad for the 25 pack Sony's, which are impossible to find in MIJ, However they are Excellent Media! I'll put hem right up there with Verbs!

    @ 9mmruger1..i just picked up the maxell 100 pack dvd-r(i always get these) & the code is RITEkG05 as usual :) :)...but however i wouldnt recommend the dvd+r because they were all different colors & crap & they looked nothing like the normal maxell dvd+r i normally see..so if anyone picks up a pack let me know what the code is.

    Thanks movies27, I'll keep a look out. I haven't made it over yet. Will definately check the manufacturer thought before I purchase.

    I also grabbed the 100-pack of Maxell DVD-R at OD...and they coded out fine to Ritek. Looks like the deal of the week.

    I found a pack of the Maxell at OD that were MIJ. My question is the packaging was different and the speed rating was 8x. The other packages that were MIT were rated at 16x. Before I pop the wrapper which ones should be better. I am new to this site and value any feedback.

    the MIJ 8x Maxells are VERY good quality media, made by Hitachi...i would suggest you KEEP THOSE and use them over the 16x rated MIT. :)

    good luck~
