Got my Sammy in the mail today, but I can't get the computer to recognize it. Was wondering if someone here could help. The drive came pre-flashed with Kreon-81. Would that be the problem? Basically looking for any ideas how to get windows to recognize it. Was thinking of going to Sammy website, install the proper driver, and then flash it with Kreon myself. Would that do the trick? Thanks.
are the jumpers set to the correct position? like master, slave, cable select or whatever it needs to be?
I had the same problem when mine came in too. What I overlooked was that I needed to make sure that my Samsung was set to slave... so I took the cover off my pc and made sure it was all good. Windows should detect it if you do this.
