i know how to flash a ms25 using iprep and i wanted to know if you do the same steps to flash a ms28 with the new ixtreme 1.4 using iprep ?
I know in the textbook 2008 edition they say something about soldering a resistor or using the bad flash method with MS28 drives. However, I flashed one this past Tuesday using iprep and a floppy drive and it flashed it with no problems, just like a MS25 drive. There was an iprep update when I first opened the program so maybe it had something to do with that but I don't know for certain if it was because of that update or not. Maybe someone else can give some info though?
