I really want SOny 1080 but due to pricy.. i rather to spend under US $1800-2000.00 I m look for rang 46-50" LCD 1080. Is samsung 46 or 50 good tv hdtv ?? It will be just for daily tv and movies (DVD). Any advice will be great! thanks! Jake
hey i work at a well know electrical retailer in the UK and can tell you when you buy sony you are basically paying for the name. sony do not make their own screens, instead the get either panasonic or samsung to make them for them. so in that respect i would not buy sony yes they are a good make but they are very much over priced for what you get. i would recommend a good samsung TV 46-50" with at least 2 hdmi inputs. with HD TV most of the brands; sony, samsung, panasonic and lg all give more or less the same picture! as well there are a lot more variations with samsung tv's, for example some tv's might have the same insides but they just are different colours and so on but hey that is my opinion and i see these tv's nearly every day!!!
