Samsung and LT+

Since LT+ is released for lite-on and benq. My question is what happens to samsung owners that can't load ap2.5? I have a Samsung and it wont load ap2.5 games, it just says disc in unreadable even after using ABGX 1.04 to Auto Patch.

yeah since samsung doesn't support ap2.5, I'd say you either have to wait for a FW update for samsung or don't use abgx

 

Ive tried not patching the game, from what I read on the internet it's about 50/50 with samsung users not being able to play ap2.5 games

 

since you already patched it, grab one that is not patched

 

I just tried on my samsung today and it wont load either. it just says play dvd when i put the disc in and i didnt try to launch it just incase. but my benq works perfectly with lt+

remember you still need ssv2 so when you patch it just manually patch in the ssv2 files but do not autofix to avoid patching ap2.5. i would try myself but im not at home to burn anymore. its pretty damn odd how some will load and some will not tho.

anyone know if c4 has addressed the issue with samsungs?

 

You can't patch the game if you have a samsung. Unpatched will work

 

yea but you can patch ssv2 and ap2.5 separately. im pretty sure ssv2 would be needed still in order to be safe online right?

 

Sorry for my late reply was on Vacation. How do you manually patch in the ssv2 files? And where do you get the ssv2 files? sorry for the noob questions , it's just that iv'e never had problems with backups on my Samsung ever!!! until now with the ap2.5 so iv'e never really had to do much with iso's before except for stealthing them.

 

you get them thru abgx. if it doesnt patch them in when you do the autofix then you go to the site and get them. there are instructions for doing it there.

 

So I tried everything still nothing! Ive wasted 10 dvd 9's and Ive come t the conclusion that at this time my Samsung wont play ap2.5 games!!!!! I hope a fix comes out soon as for this

 

what samsung drive do you have? i have a M28 and it loads all ap25 games for me.

 

ok i'm a total noob at this. i don't even know if i'm in the right thread. i have a banned xbox from the first ban wave. it has the ixtreme 1.61 and its a samsung m25 drive. i can'e play any game pass wave 4 and want to play the new games on this one but everytime i put in one of the new games it says "play DVD". is there anyway to play the new backup games on it?

 

Flash your drive with LT for samsung. That should take care of your problem.

Because that game is patched to ap2.5 and samsung doesn't support ap2.5. Don't use abgx 1.0.4 if you have a samsung. Get a unpatched version and the game will boot fine.

 

i use abgx for all my games and they boot perfectly

are you playing ap2.5 games and using abgx 1.0.4? Patching will causing them not to boot with the new abgx

 

I patched need for speed and AC brotherhood with abgx 1.0.3. also i don't manually patch the SSv2 files. i would just set to auto fix level three then burn my games. i will start manually doing so.

I hope i dont get banned, but so far so good.

 

so what should i do for the next game that is ap25?
