i just bought this phone i cant seem to find an option to change the Display Text...theres a place to change the color and location for it to be displayed but i cant seem to change the text...does anyone know how to change that text? another thing is..is there a way to change the phone to vibrate without going to ring styles and changing it there...i used to have the motorola v635i where i cud press a buttin on the side that would change to the various options like silent..vibrate..vibrate nd ring nd etc..plz let me knw if there some kind of shortcut
i have the same fone.hold down the #button to put on silent mode. silent mode can vary between vibrating and mute, depending on the setting you put it on. i dnt know how to change the text either..btw, i have a few questions for you. is your phone able to take any kind of simcard like mine(as in fido, rogers or w.e.), and also , my phone tends to cut out time to time when im talking to somebody, does this happen to you too?
thanks...its working..and yea i can take rogers or fido sim card..thats because my phone is unlocked..when the phone is unlocked it can use both sim cards..and no my phone doesnt cut off while im talking..maybe its ur reception going too low..not reallie sure..
oh, hm, my phone actually came without service providers(as in , its not from rogers or fido), its actually from samsung, and is meant to take any kind of simcard, and ive never seen anyone else with my kind of fone, so i was just wondering.as for reception, i don't know if thats the reason...hm, my fone works 99% of the time, but in the last month or 2 it would jus cancel my phone call for no reason..hm, w.e., its all good. thnx tho
