samsung hdmi problem

    i have a 42 inch lcd full hd samsung, i bought an hdmi to hdmi cable, to connect my sony vaio laptop to it, but the tv wont recognise the laptop, i've tried all hdmi slots, but nothing happened, it says no signal. is there some kind of settings to do first.

    You may need to go in the video card settings and enable a second device.

    I use UltraMon a great program for dual monitor setup.
