DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE BEST DVD-R TO USE FOR THE SAMSUNG HT-TX75? I CURRENTLY USE SONY BRAND DVD-R AND DURING PLAYBACK THE PLAYER USUALLY SKIPS EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS IT HAS PROGRESSIVE SCAN. I RECENTLY TRIED SONY BRAND DVD+R WITH THE SAME RESULTS. SHOULD I TRY TDK OR FUJI, OR MAYBE SOME REAL CHEAP BRAND?

Sony is usually an ok brand. Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden are better.
You may be burning the disc too fast. Try burning at a slower speed. Progressive scan has nothing to do with disc skipping. Progressive and Interlaced have to do with how the picture is redrawn on the tv screen.
