I can eject the drive only if I manually open it through the pinhole or through software IF there is already a disc in the drive. If there is no disc in the drive and I push the eject putton or software eject, then the drive will *TRY* to open but will get stuck. Make no mistake, this is a hardware problem. Any ideas? I've gotten these confusing or unspecific answers: 1) "ITS MEAN THAT ITS MIS BALLANCE OF THE TRAY PLEASE TAKE OUT THE DRIVE AND USE THE PAPER PIN OR VERY THIN SCREW DRIVER TO OPEN THE DRIVE AND PUSH THE WHITE PLASTIC TO OPEN THIS DRIVE TRAY ONCE TRAY COMES OUT TRY TO TURN TRAY TOWORDS YOUR SIDE TO BALANCE SEE IF ITS WORK WITH THAT" 2) "Please use wd40 spray on the white plastic you saw and leave it for a while if the problem persist please send us back we will replace it for you" Anybody? Much apreciated.
Send it back and get a new one... I'm sorry but thats the best advice I can give you from a professional stand point. There is something mechanically wrong inside the drive and unless you built it and know how to fix it by opening it up with a screw driver then your best bet is to send it back and get a new one. Cheers
2nd that because if you take the drive apart you loose warranty which means having to buy a new drive!!
