Hey my monitor is complete crap. The screen sometimes jumps around and the resolution changes when I turn it on sometimes :S. It's an old crt . My friend went to best buy today and picked up a new monitor and no longer has a need for this samsung monitor. So he asked if I wanted to buy his samsung syncmaster 913 for $250 CAD. I haven't looked into lcd monitors and was wondering if I should buy it off him or just buy a brand new one from the store? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I've seen it, it's in good condition and he said I could try it out for 14 days(that's how long he has to return his new monitor), and if I don't like it, I can give it back to him. Also, the one you linked is a 913n. I might just borrow it for a week and if it's good, I'll buy it. But I wanted to know if there are better monitors out there for around that price or for a little higher. Thanks for the reply.
sry for bad link il fix it in a few secs try the monitor for a week or so technology advances that monitor is from 2005 u could get a new one made on 2006 with more tech meaning better response time, contrast and stuff for the same price
