i would never reccomend a noob to use irc ,that's just cruel ... use torrents, u can find fast ones if you look (don't use suprnova)

 

ya, irc can be a lil rough to begin with

and ya, sometimes if you can find yourself a nice little torrent community they can be way better then a big site like suprnova cuz there's still a few people to download off of and everybody seeds, so they can be faster and alot more reliable.

 

irc is definately worth it but i would reccomend anybody new to set aside some time to learn to use it, it can be a bit daunting.. ( for dumb asses like myself, though i'm sure nobody else is quite as dumb )...before you get use to it

hey there im just wonderin if any of you av downloaded gta san andreas usin bittorrent n suprnova. im downloading one which got to 60% no probs but then it said "rejected by tracker - torrent not registered with this tracker" and now i cant download any of it it wont let me connect. The torrent is here :

Hey whats up guys i was wondering if when i download grand theft auto san andreas could i copy it onto a 4.7 gig dvd and how can i burn it so it will play without a mod chip installed on my ps2 if its possible. Please tell me how?

 

unless you have a very fast connection you might as well just not even try because it wont get done til like tuesday or wednesday and the real game comes out tuesday.

 

I was lucky enough to be able to download and burn it successfully. The game is AMAZING!! It completely blows VC right out the water.
However, has anybody else had trouble with the game freezing occasionally, and the screen going black with white text saying: 'Error cannot read from GTA: San Andreas disc'?
It keeps happening. It sorts itself out after a minute or two, but it's really irritating.
It's just as well i'm buyinh the original anyway, as that'd piss me off otherwise.
I only did the first few missions to unlock some of the features like the food, the gym etc.

two player mode yet? I havent found an actual 2 player mode, but theres a nifty little pool game in the bar near CJ's house and that is 2 player. fusking great. If not, u can just play against the CPU.

Haven't had that problem but occasionally mine will think the controller comes unplugged and the game will put up a message asking me to plug the controller back in even tho it never came out. Seems to happen most often when vibration occurs. Only game I've seen this happen with so far.

 

No, if your PS2 isn't chipped then you won't be able to play it.

I found a 2 player mission. It was a killing spree mission, We had to kill 15 pedestrians in 3 minutes. It was not hard. The farther apart the 2 players got the higer up the camera angle changed to. At a certain point it wouldnt let me move forward anymore.

 

I doubt San Andreas will be released on DVD-5. It will most likely be DVD-9 and need to be ripped to the computer, etc..

 

been playing this game since 3 a.m. non stop, so 13 hours, i just couldn't put it down lol, never ran into any problems at all, i found that 2 player mode thing too, haven't tried it yet.

i was screwing around and found out that the armor cheat from vice city gives you $250,000 in san andreas, and all the weapons cheats are the same

i have two games going, one cheat, one non-cheat, i'm getting pretty far in the non-cheat one, but two of the coolest things i've seen so far is the tow truck, and the gym, my guys pumped, and i got the robbery thing down too, pretty sweet.

 

I was able to do the P.I.M.P. missions, pizza missions, etc.
But i can't do teh robbery missions!
Can you tell me how do to that?
Oh, and by the way, this game is, hummm....let me see..incredible? Maybe. It's flawless.

 

gamestop is selling it at 7:00 pm tonight (rochester NY)... hopefully i will be able to pick up on the real game where i left off on the downloaded 1 :-D

 

let us all know for a fact if it is dvd9 or not i cant wait till tommorow when i get my pre-orderd so i can put all this shit to rest
