Hello. I have a brand new E250 and bought the additional 1gB Micro SD card. The card is in. I've filled the E250 up - won't synch any additional songs from WMP 10. OK, I get it except when I go to Info panel on the player it indicates 968 mB on the SD Card and 753 mB is free. This tells me that the player isn't using all I've given it. Anyone else seen this and especially - how did you fix it? My firmware version is 01.00.12A which is what it came with out of the box. I had this scary thought that perhaps you have to format the whole blinking thing with the SD card inserted - means all my careful synching etc. is down the toilet! Arrggh! Could that be the answer? Thanks!
the same exact thing just happend to me and don know wut the heck to do pluse i dont even have my arcsoft media converter cd any more and its not on my computer any more so im screwd it got deleted and idk where to download it at either i went out and bought the 1gb micro sd card thinkin i was going to be able to hold more music n pics then for some reason my computer just rebooted its self idk maybe i had too much stuff on my computer but heyy do you think you could email me a copy of ur arcsoft media converter because with out that i cant do anything at all i already returned the sd card and now all i need is a the media converter if you can e-mail it to me please at fly_kid50@yahoo.com
Do you know how to use RapidShare? The Media Converter must be wrapped inside the master install pack. Let me know. Meanwhile I still would like to know, if anyone does, how to incorp that extra SD card.
I think I've figured the SD card out. The onboard 2 gB of memory is viewed as a separate drive in Windows. It comes up listed as "Sansa e250 - E:". The memory card/chip is identified as "Removable Drive F:". And so you need to address it separately. Which makes some logical sense because you could theoretically have 2 microSDs with different types of media on them and there's no way for the Sansa to split a volume. So, it's not as though it's one complete unit.
rapid share?....i dont think so but im a fast learner if you could do this for me i would be sooo greatfull please help me lol
I put my MicroSD card (2GB) in my Sansa e250 and it didn't show up as a separate drive in Windows XP. Not sure what to do from here.
Now I know how to use the MicroSD card (thanks to whftherb). Make sure your Sansa e250 is not connected, the MicroSD card is in the slot, and make sure it is turned on. Go to Settings> USB Mode> and select MSC. Now plug it in (may take a minute or two to configure everything) and you should see 2 new drives, Sansa e250 (F and Removable Disc (G, though the letters assigned to your device may be different from mine, it should still show up.
